Are baseline strength measures predictive of changes in spatio-temporal gait measures throughout a load-bearing military march?

Abstract Summary
The purpose of this research was to identify baseline strength measures that may be predictive of resistance to fatigue during an extended load-bearing military march. Step-wise regression models accounted for 30 - 46% of the variability in how pace, step length, and stance time changed with fatigue. Hand grip and upright row strength were most heavily weighted in these models.
