Abstract Summary
Turning, especially in postural dual task conditions, is a challenging daily routine for older adults. The purpose of this study is to investigate the postural control of healthy older adults under postural dual task conditions during turning. A total of 13 healthy older adult were recruited form the community. Two experimental conditions were assigned to each participant in a random order. The differences in the range of motion (ROM) of the trunk-angle between two tasks were analyzed by conducting paired t-tests .The results indicate that the trunk-angle ROM under postural dual task is smaller than single task .Therefore the stability of healthy older adults was affected by postural dual task during turning.
