Transverse plane golf swing kinematics and performance in older adults with osteoarthritis of the trailing knee

Abstract Summary
This study examined the effects of osteoarthritis of the trailing knee on golf performance and rotational kinematics during a golf swing. The study showed that osteoarthritis may cause reduced trunk and knee joint rotations in addition to slower knee rotation velocities, which consequently may cause reduced ball speed and reduced performance.
