Development and validation of a new full body musculoskeletal model

This abstract has open access
Abstract Summary
Full body musculoskeletal models are of great interest due to their ability to capture a more accurate representation of human motion. Over time, full body models have grown in detail, although more work must be done. In this work, previously validated OpenSim models are combined to create a more detailed full-body model with necessary body joints. It is expected that we will be able to use this model for future analysis of various motions such as walking, running, or lifting. After the completion of the verification and validation processes, this model will be freely available for download in the OpenSim community.
