Task constraints during locomotion affect movement attractor dynamics more than scaling a control parameter

Abstract Summary
The present study investigated the lower limb joint angle dynamics during walking and running at a range of speeds. The joint angle dynamics was assessed by the largest Lyapunov and correlation dimension. It was observed that while altered speed affected the attractor dynamics, changes in gait mode changed the dynamics more.
