Changes in performance during jumping slows punch speed in karate

Abstract Summary
The study was investigated the relationship between changes in the performance of vertical jumps and punch velocity in karate. Variations in relative force (RF) and vertical impulse (VI) are the associated the velocity peak of fist (VPF). Therefore, there is a high contribution the lower body muscle power in velocity of punches in karate.
