Between-day and within-day reliability of hip biomechanics during walking

Abstract Summary
Gait analysis is commonly used to assess differences in walking between groups of adults or to evaluate changes in adults. In order to determine true differences between groups or time points, reliability and minimum detectable differences (MDD) are needed. This study evaluated within-day and between-day reliability and MDD for commonly reported hip biomechanics during walking. Within-day and between-day reliability were moderate to excellent for peak hip extension, flexion, and adduction angles and peak internal hip extensor, flexor and abductor moments.¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ ¶ ¶
