Synchronization between stride time intervals and external visual cueing

Abstract Summary
External cueing without variability fails to address the variable patterns typically observed in healthy gait, and rehabilitation goals are depending on the degree of synchronization. The ability to synchronize could be improved when coupling systems match in their time-based statistical properties. Therefore, we investigated whether the degree of synchronization depends on the statistical properties of external visual cues.
