This abstract has open access
Abstract Summary
This study reports a preliminary longitudinal analysis of shoulder muscles EMG onsets in patients surgically treated for rotator-cuff tear. Fourteen patients were recruited. Anterior Deltoid, Upper and Lower Trapezius onsets were collected during humerus elevation. Three sessions were completed for each subject (before surgery, 45 and 90 days after surgery). Results support the effect of rehabilitation on scapular control, particularly for sagittal compared to abduction movement.
