Individual differences in ground contact time measurement accuracy of a commercially available sensor during treadmill running

Abstract Summary
Accurate measurement of temporal gait parameters is critical to provide valid estimates of running dynamics. Commercial sensors provide gait measures, but the algorithms used to produce these measures require validation and may be effected by individual differences in running style. This study aims to assess the accuracy of the Garmin Running Dynamics Pod, and investigate individual differences in measurement trends.
