Temporal delays in quadriceps muscle activation influence patient perceived function after aclr

Abstract Summary
Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) individuals who exhibit atypical neuromuscular control strategies during a single limb forward hop demonstrate suboptimal self-reported function related to sport specific activities compared with ACLR individuals that use neuromuscular control strategies similar to healthy controls. The Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcomes Score (KOOS) sport scale can be used as an objective measure to identify those at risk for altered neuromuscular strategies after ACLR.
