Customized finite element models of the knee to investigate acl injury mechanisms during landing

This abstract has open access
Abstract Summary
Four specimen-specific finite element (FE) models of the knee were developed and validated to investigate ACL injury mechanisms in realistic knee models, providing valuable insight into the inter-subject differences that cannot be captured with generic models calibrated to average data.
